Care and Education

Borman Village Kids' programme is based on New Zealand's early childhood curriculum

Te Whāriki. The curriculum integrates care and education with planned and spontaneous experiences so children can develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will support them to become confident learners. The curriculum recognises the diversity in New Zealand and the ways in which

bi-cultural goals and practices are developed.

  • Borman Village Kids is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm.

  • '20 Hours ECE' and WINZ subsidies are available.

  • Borman Village Kids provides a nutritious morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea made with organic and whole foods where possible and cater for any allergies or dietary requirements.

  • We will provide you with a portfolio and record of your child's learning journey. Storypark is a secure online portfolio where we can record and communicate learning to you as it happens, privately with you and your family.

  • A strict cleaning and sanitising policy is in place to do the best we can against bacteria and viruses.

  • Local walks within the neighbourhood and excursions form part of our curriculum.

  • Borman Village Kids has an open door policy, families are welcome to be involved as much as they like to be.
